Install the ZumbaCards App
There is no App Store download. Here is how to add ZumbaCards to your home screen on every platform.
There is no ZumbaCards app in the App Store or on Google Play, and there never has been. Anything claiming to be one is not from the operator — do not install it.
ZumbaCards runs as a progressive web app: a website you add to your home screen, which then opens full-screen with its own icon and no browser chrome. For a platform like this one it is functionally identical to a native app.
iPhone and iPad
- Open play.zumbacards.com in Safari. This does not work in Chrome on iOS.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow, at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Name it and tap Add.
The icon appears on your home screen and opens full-screen. If you do not see “Add to Home Screen”, you are not in Safari.
Android
- Open play.zumbacards.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu, top right.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm.
Chrome often prompts this automatically after a couple of visits.
Desktop — Chrome, Edge, Brave
- Open play.zumbacards.com.
- Look for the install icon in the address bar — a small monitor with a downward arrow.
- Click it, then Install.
It opens in its own window from then on, separate from your browser tabs.
Safari on macOS: File → Add to Dock.
What you actually gain
- Full-screen — no address bar, more of the screen for the lobby.
- Home screen icon — one tap instead of a bookmark.
- Faster loads — the app shell is cached.
- Promotional extras. The platform runs an “Install ZumbaCards — get extra offers” prompt. What those offers are is not published in advance, so treat it as a possible bonus rather than a reason to install.
What you do not gain
- No push notifications on iOS unless you have installed to the home screen, and even then support is limited.
- No offline play. Games are streamed; without a connection there is nothing to play.
- No separate account. It is the same account and the same balance as the browser.
Honest note on the install prompt
The install banner exists because an installed app gets opened more often than a bookmark does. That is its purpose — retention. It is not a dark pattern, and the convenience is real, but worth knowing that the offer attached to it is buying a habit.
If you want the convenience without the habit, install it and turn off whatever notification permission it asks for. More on that in our responsible play page.
