ZumbaCards Payment Methods
Cards, wallets, ACH and crypto going in; ACH and push-to-card coming out — plus the fees on each.
The deposit list and the withdrawal list on ZumbaCards are not the same list, which is normal in this industry and worth knowing before you fund an account through a method you cannot be paid back through.
Paying in
| Method | Notes |
|---|---|
| Visa | Standard card purchase |
| Mastercard | Standard card purchase |
| Discover | Standard card purchase |
| Apple Pay | Fastest on mobile |
| Google Pay | Fastest on Android |
| ACH bank transfer | Slower to clear, lowest fee |
| Crypto — BTC, ETH, USDT and others | Processed through Coinflow |
Fees. Roughly $1–2 on fiat methods and around $15 on crypto, charged on top of the box price. A $20 welcome box is not a $20 transaction, and on the smallest boxes a flat fee is a meaningful percentage.
Crypto is the most expensive way to fund this account by a wide margin. The ~$15 fee on a $20 box is 75% of the purchase. If you are using crypto, use it on a large box or not at all.
Getting paid
| Method | Status |
|---|---|
| ACH bank transfer | Confirmed |
| Debit card push-to-card | Confirmed |
| PayPal | Listed by some third-party sites, not confirmed by the platform |
| Venmo | Listed by some third-party sites, not confirmed by the platform |
| Crypto | Not offered as a payout method |
Sources conflict on PayPal and Venmo. The platform’s own documentation does not confirm either, so check inside your account before planning around them — and note that crypto is a one-way street here: you can fund with it, you cannot be paid out in it.
The rules on withdrawals
- Minimum 100 SC, redeemed at 1 SC = $1 — so a $100 minimum payout.
- One withdrawal per 72 hours.
- Identity verification through Veriff must be complete first. Verification guide.
- Playthrough must be cleared: 1× on purchased Surprise Coins, 5× on bonus coins.
- Typical processing: 2–5 business days, with reports of longer.
The rate, which matters more than any fee
Surprise Coins cost $2 and redeem at $1. That spread dwarfs every fee on this page — a $15 crypto charge is noise next to a 2:1 buy-to-redeem rate.
Two things genuinely improve it: the welcome boxes at about $0.50 per SC, and the XP Loyalty Club discount, which reaches 30% at Bronze after about fifty days of free tournament entries. Optimise those before optimising payment methods. Full breakdown.
Practical advice
- Use a fiat method on small purchases. The flat fee is a smaller proportion.
- Fund from an account you can also receive ACH into, so the money has a route home.
- Do not keep a card on file if you want purchases to stay deliberate.
- Verify before your first payout request, not after.
